Rima Melati is a 26-year-old Indonesian, divorced, with one daughter aged 10. She has 4 years of experience working in Malaysia, handling both childcare and elderly care. She is able to converse confidently in English.

Her first employment was with a Malaysian Indian family from 2018 to 2020, where she completed a 2-year contract. The household comprised Sir, Ma’am, and two children aged 7 and 13. From 2023 to 2025, she successfully completed a 2-year contract with a Chinese Malaysian family of five, consisting of Sir, Ma’am, Ah Mah, and two adult children aged 21 and 27. Her primary responsibility was providing attentive care to the family’s infirm 89-year-old Ah Mah, supporting her in walking to prevent falls and standing outside the bathroom while Ah Mah showered, ready to respond immediately should any incident occur. In addition, Rima managed housekeeping for a 3-storey bungalow with 11 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, prepared meals, tended the garden, and washed five family cars.
